These Booking Conditions contain important information. It is essential that you carefully read and understand them. By booking with us and paying the non-refundable deposit or full payment, you acknowledge that you have read, and understood and agree to be legally bound by these Booking Conditions.
1. Prices
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd has the right to adjust prices at any time. We will generally only amend prices in the event of marked fluctuations in exchange rates, and other operating costs on which prices are based.
Not included in tour price:
Airfares, passport and visa fees, travel insurance, airport transfers, accommodation, meals, drinks, medical expenses, tips, sightseeing excursions, goods purchased, freight insurance where an individual item is valued at $1000 or more, customs duties, GST or any other taxes, quarantine costs and any other item of a personal nature are not included in the tour price.
2. Tour Service
Included in the tour price:
Pre-departure advice, hotel pick up and drop off, private motor vehicle for the purpose of a 6 hour tailored shopping tour to 3-4 shopping locations within a 30km radius of the city centre, tour guide/driver, two boxes (47*32*32(H)cm) which will be transported to Australia, collection of goods from hotel, customs export clearance, insurance, air freight of goods back to Australia, customs import clearance, road delivery to nominated address.
3. Payment
A deposit of $100 per person, per tour is required within 7 days from the date of booking.
Full payment must be received within 30 days of the tour start date. Late payment may result in your booking being terminated and loss of deposit.
4. Purchase of Goods
You are responsible for all costs associated with the purchase of goods, including without limitation taxes, duties and other government charges. Goods will not be released to you until all additional costs are paid either to Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd or to any other party rendering an invoice for those additional costs.
Additional costs are to be reimbursed to Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd within 30 days of being incurred. If monies are not reimbursed in this timeframe, Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd has the right to sell goods in order to recover costs.
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not accept responsibility or liability for any items purchased that contravene the laws of any region or country.
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not accept responsibility or liability for any lost goods or losses resulting from the delay in delivery of goods.
5. Packaging of Goods
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will provide boxes measuring 47*32*32(H)cm. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will accept no liability for the packing advice it provides. The customer remains responsible for ensuring packaging is adequate for transportation.
The size of individual goods are restricted by the size of the box. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd and its service providers will not be liable for transportation or freight of goods outside of this size restrictions.
Weight of the packed box is to be no more than 20kg. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd and its service providers will not be liable for transportation or freight of goods outside of this weight restriction.
6. Customs Documentation
By booking with Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd you agree to have Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd acts as an agent on your behalf for the purposes of transporting and declaring through customs your purchased goods.
In order to facilitate the clearance of goods through customs you are responsible for completing all relevant export and import documentation.

Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not be liable for the transportation or freight of your goods if you fail to complete all necessary documentation or provide a misdescription of goods or provide misleading information in the documentation.
It is your obligation to enquire as to the amount of customs duty, if any, on goods purchased. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not be liable for the imposition of customs duty on any goods purchased.
7. Risk
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd operates in regions where standards of transport, safety, hygiene, medical facilities and other infrastructure may, at times, not be of the standard that you are used to at home.
By booking with us you agree to accept all risks associated with a Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd tour. These risks include without limitation, the possibility of injury or death, psychological trauma, disease, loss or damage to property, inconvenience and discomfort.
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd recommend that you take appropriate insurance to cover you for these risks.
8. Responsibility
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd is not responsible for the acts and omissions of others for any loss, damage, death, injury or expense including without limitation any property damage or personal injury, which you may incur as a consequence of the acts and omissions of others.
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not accept responsibility or liability if you contravene any law or regulation of any country or region.
Any independent arrangements that you make that are not part of the Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd are entirely at your own risk and Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd cannot and does not give you any assurance, representation or warranty in connection with such arrangements.
9. Cancellation by Worldwide Shopping Tours
Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd reserves the right to cancel a tour date and will advise you of such cancellations no later than 30 days before the start date. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will refund all payments you have made to Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd. Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd will not be liable for any additional costs incurred.
10. Cancellation by You
Notification of cancellation must be made to Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd in writing. The date of the cancellation is the date on which written notification is received by Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd. The following cancellation fees apply, per person:
More than 30 days Loss of Deposit ($100)
30 days or less Loss of 100% of booking cost
11. Booking Amendments
If you wish to change your booking in any way, the following fees will apply:
More than 30 days $30 administration fee
30 days or less $50 administration fee
No amendments are permitted to your booking within 10 days of tour start date.
12. Governing Law
These Booking Conditions are governed by the laws in force in South Australia. Each party irrevocably and unconditionally submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Australia.
13. Definitions
“Service providers” are persons or organisations providing the services for Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd who are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of Worldwide Shopping Tours Pty Ltd |
